Please say a prayer

I have not been on the forum much lately because my sister has been really ill. She ended up in the hospital on a vent due to upper respiratory infection and with her MS getting progressively worse she has not been able to fight off and come back from this. The doctors told us to prepare for the worst and that her time is short.

Please remember her in your prayers and ask for God to help us through this valley. My Mom is 77 years old and this has been really hard on her. She just lost her baby sister a few weeks ago and her oldest sister suffered a heart attack and a stroke so the family is taking her off life support on Friday. Alot of sorrow in our lives right now but we know that God is still in control and he will see us through this.

We've added her to our prayer list. Rest and leave it to the Lord.

I have been through a rough last 5 yrs. One thing I have learned is that deserving or not righteous or not faithful or not loving or not God is there for you he will never leave or forsake you and biggest of all for some reason he cares about us. We may not feel that this is true all the time but non the less it is. I pray that your family will see brighter days soon.

It has been a while since I've been back on the forum. Rosemary left earths bounds on March 19th. She had seemed better on that Friday when we left and they had taken out her chest tube. We got the call at 2:30 AM that she was not doing well and she had passed by the time we got to the hospital. It has been hard to get back to life without her but we are forging ahead as we know that is what she would have wanted. Thanks for all your prayers and support - we know that we will see her again in heaven and she is in a better place.

The strength of your memories of Rosemary will keep her ever present in your heart and provide you with smiles of joy for all time. Celebrate those memories, they are now a part your strength to carry on.

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalm 34:18

I'm sorry for your loss, but am encouraged by your eternal outlook, Cat. God will honor you for this. Blessings!

Encouraging Words

For you Cat :x

Psalm 71:20-21
Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. You will increase my honor and comfort me once again

Isaiah 40:18-31
Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint

1 Peter 1:3-9
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith the salvation of your souls.

1 Peter 5:6-7
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you

Revelation 7:15-17
And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, "they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

You know Cat that Rose is where she is new again. And all of us are only here like a wisp of smoke, here only for a moment in time. The Good News is that eternity is ours! Yours and Rosemary's,(and all belivers,) praise God for when you meet again it will be forever!
Be Blessed in His Grace, Hold Strong to the Truth!,
Mike

Are thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We are coming up on the anniversary of my Brother-in-law. It's tough to lose a family member but especially a sibling and for your mother, a child.

Stay strong for your family and remember the wonderful times. We still laugh about my Brother-in-law and the joy he brought. Do the same for your sister.
