Since the Fit battery is so small I'm wondering can I substitute a motorcycle battery

Since the Fit battery is so small I'm wondering can I substitute a motorcycle battery

The main reason I'd like to do that is to get a nice fitting battery @ a much lower cost than what Honda wants for theirs. I'd also feel secure using a motorcycle trickle charger on it too.

Oddly enough, that's exactly what the stock battery is..... a motorcycle battery with car terminals..... So, go for it!!

I bought a golf cart battery. ub 12220, $40ish. has worked great for 2 years now. In texas heat no less.

u1r battery. comes with flag terminals so get a set of terminal adapters and you're good to go!
