15x8.5 +15 .. question

has anyone ever ran a rim with this spec before? I found a rim that has this but was wondering if there's anything I need to know about this before I buy the rim. the tires I'm probably gonna use are like a stock size, 195/50/15.

input, comments, concerns, let me know pls!

well my suspension alone is
on Megan racing full coilovers. I have rolled my fenders and I do have a set of spc camber kits all around. I think I'm set aren't I?

I'd love to see that 15x10 setup! post pics!! =]

true, but the width is what I'm afraid of. I wonder if it'll be too wide and it may stick out too far. might look like a skate board.

you will stiil have some poke. but not too much thats due to the offset. your going lower offset so that means more poke with a smaller width rim so it wont look right. i mean it will look good but the wheel will be to skiny the wider the less you see the poke.

Okay Felix has x9+15(ish) I dont know the exact specs and haven't searched...
But he also has custom fenders and body work done. He did have 15x8 +15 Sportmaxx 501's and they poked quite a bit.

Nxfit-15x7+10 and 15x8.5 +10 are not even close to the same. 15x7 +10 are similar to my SSR Reverse Mesh and the 8.5 would be two inches wides. Not sure how that is the almost the same?? it would be way different

Good luck with 15x10....I've seen it on a car in Japan but they had custom ffenders and bodywork done as well. Plus they were on air, etc

So think of it this way when it says 0 offset that means the face/mounting hub of the wheel is exactly in the middle of the wheel. positive offset means the face is closer to the outer of the wheel where as negative is closer to the inner of the wheel.

So a 15x7 +13 (using this number as this is what I had previous) has about 115mm, about 4.5 inches of backspacing (the space between the mounting hub and the inner wheel edge) where my other wheels 17x8 +24 have about 139mm, about 5 inches of backspacing. Therefore the 15x7 +13 defitenly poked more then the 17x8 +24.
But lets change the wheel offset so its exactly the same but different width rims.
a 17x8 +13 has 128mm of backspacing so still 13mm difference. which means that the wheel will stick out about 13mm more than the x7 wheel.

Pictures to reference
15x7 +13 all around
