Problem with small rust sport on the door

Problem with small rust sport on the door

so recently i notice small rust spot on the door. what can i do to remove them and advice would be greatly be appreciated

You're going to have to upload those pictures to photobucket or something, can't view those pictures from your desktop. But from what your describing, I get the feeling it's just one of those spots that develop from brake dust or something like that, you could remove those with a claybar.

*edit: nevermind... not what I was thinking of.

For something like that, you're gonna have to use sandpaper and take the rust off, and then paint over it with some touch up paint.

I tinker around w/ body & paint work, this isn't bad but surprised to see it on the Fit. Looks like salt damage.
1.) tape off area and sand down to clean metal start w/ 80 and finish w/220
2.) prime w/ a good red oxide primer, Red Rustoleum let dry for 48 hours and wet sand w/ 600
3.) Check Walmart I was there last night and saw a color very close to the dark grey metalic of your car. 5.47, 3-4 light coats and let dry over night b4 closing door esp. if gasket hits the painted area.
4.) and for under $30.00 You have fixed it be happy you just saved $200.00
