Aftermarket cruise control options for 07 base AT

Adding cruise control as been a pet project of mine for awhile that I have never gotten around to doing. I have always been looking for a better way to do it, but now that the "just add the buttons and get OEM cruise" idea has been dis-proven for the GD in this thread, aftermarket is the only way to go. (Or make your own cruise control as FitnaGo decided to do!)

The main thread on adding the aftermarket cruise seems to be this one, but there are a number of additional questions that I have:

1. Two kits have been mentioned: the Rostra and the ExpressKit. From visiting the ExpressKit site it seems that they don't make any cruise kits anymore. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Are there other kits for the GD Fit besides these two?

2. Some of the kits have been reported to be "plug-and-play" in the sense that they have a harness that the accelerator wire connector plugs into, that in turn plugs into the accelerator pedal, avoiding the need to cut and splice the accelerator wire(s). Which kits are (or were) "plug-and-play"? It seems unclear since all of the kit manuals I have found online show cutting and splicing.

3. Now that these kits have been in use for awhile, which do people like? Which are reliable?

Thanks for any info!
