what up everyone, just bought an 08 sport last night.

love the car.

ive owned 2 corollas, 2 s13s, and now my first daily, a fit.

i guess i have an 08 GD3? meaning its a 1st gen?

already looking at lowering springs, some tanabe df210. what else do i need when lowering the fit? any adjustable arms? or just springs and im set.

oh and when does vtec engage? i dont hear or feel it at all. ive looked it up and ive seen 3600 to 4200 to 5200 and have felt nothing when driving today.

 

hmm I have a 2nd gen that I just got last week and I notice a slight sound difference at 5500rpm. it will probably be a more prominent sound after an after market intake is installed

 

Yes yours is a GD and all you need is springs if that gets you low enough to suit you. VTEC on a GD engages at about 2500.

 

i got a hold of some tanabe df210s for a GE. problem is i own a GD3.
will these fit and give the same drop as a df210 for a gd3?

if not theyre for sale: $100 picked up $125 shipped

 

Drop a short ram on and you'll hear the vtec. Next mod I'm thinking of doing.

 

my door panels are rattling like crazy when i have my ipod connected through the auxiliary cable. only some bass heavy songs, its pretty annoying and when i apply pressure with my elbow against the panel, it goes away.

has anyone else experienced this or it just my car
