New (to me) 2008 Fit Owner
Bought a 2008 Fit Sport last week.
From Pensacola FL (Pace, FL to be exact).
Very excited to have it! Flooded my 99 Saturn SL2 in the flooding we had.
Any pointers would be nice. Things I should upgrade. Whatever y'all wanna throw at me!
Thanks!!
Amanda

I recommend doing the AC condenser protection mod outlined in this thread:
https://www.fitfreak.net/forums/2nd-...lacing-14.html
It is basically using some zip ties and gutter guard (both available at Home Depot for under 10$ total) to create a protective barrier in front of the exposed part of the air conditioning condenser in the big hole in the bumper. People have had rocks and debris fly in there and damage/brake this part which is expensive to repair/replace. This requires either removing the bumper cover (which requires removing many clips). Or perhaps an easier way is to jack up the front or get it on some ramps to install this mesh from underneath. The mesh is black and my zip ties are black so this is pretty much invisible against the black plastic of the grille.
Congrats!
I also was a Saturn SL driver before the Fit. Mine was rusted beyond repair (1993!). It took me a while getting used to feeling like my butt is about 4 inches off the ground in the Saturn to the upright driving position of the Fit!
