Hey everybody, Hope all of you had a safe Summer.


I looking for the schematic's for the roof of an 08 Honda fit, I want to drill into the gutters (that are under that black rubbery trim on roof).


I saw a Roof Rack system that did this, but I believe they stop selling it.


I am a poor boy, so I thought if I had a blow up of the roof I might be able to make my own custom roof rack. We have a Welding School in the area, I think they still do this,,,, You can bring they your design and they will make it.


Why you might ask , well I really need one on my car, the one you can buy are so expensive, I think they are very over priced item. I like to put some thing like rail on the side's .... think of the Forester by Subaru. I would like your thought's Good or Bad...

I realize it's for a GE, but you can take this idea and adapt
