LED headlight problem

Hi everyone.
New to this forum, I am from canada.
I have recently replaced the stock headlight with LED headlight because it's alot brighter. However, I noticed that ever since I changed to LED light, the day time running light will not go on anymore ... And also the licence plate light is not on either.
I can live with no daytime light by switching on low beam all day but I can't live with no rear licence plate light. Police here give you a decent amount of fine for that.
At first I thought it's the bulb, so changed to new bulb but still won't work.
Is it because rear licence light is on the same circuit relay with DRL so it won't turn on all together? Any one has any input for this? Thanks a lot.

The license plate light should be on the same circuit as the parking lights and tail lights. DRLs are separate. Sounds like it may be time to check grounds and trace wires.

Or just check the fuse. Not just the fuse that says it controls the license plate lights but all light-related fuses.
