just got the numbers to calculate my gas mileage since i bought my car 2 weeks ago (to the day)

i reset the trip when i filled up the day i bought

i traveled 238 miles until the gas light came on

then i put in 8.409 gallons to fill the tank to the top

238 miles / 8.409 gallons = 28.303 mpg

and all these miles are around town, none of them were on the express-way

 

I would do the same on mine but my gas cap doesnt have a lock so i just bought one with a key cuz i know these kids and im not willing to fuel their bikes.

 

I get the idea of being secure, but your area doesn't seem to a be a safe one if kids will steal your gas. I still keep the regular gas lock and no issues at all.

 

Well you get the idea pretty well. I'd love to have a private garage or a job far from parking lots in downtown. It isnt THAT bad as pictured but i saw these little punks stealing gas from my neighbor's bike. Thats why my top priority is to secure the car.
