Hi all, its been a while since i've posted in here. Recently got in a bad accident with the Fit but it is getting repaired as I speak. Anywho, I have contemplated trading it in or selling it. However, I am now leaning towards hanging on to it and putting a roof rack on it. I found a nice Yakima whispbar roof rack locally that was off a 2012. Does anyone know if this will fit on my 2008? Thank you in advance!

 

I went with ROLA RACKS. Way cheaper, same style and design. No problems with mine over the past year. I have an 07 and just bought the one ROLA has for it.

 

Awesome! I actually ended up getting a great deal on a lightly used rola roof rack on ebay made for actual year. I'm going to put it on tomorrow. I'm glad to hear yours is holding up well. I read some reviews where people were saying the clips don't latch on properly. Have you gone long rides with a lot of weight up there yet?

I can post pictures later. The clamps aren't perfect, but with a roof box loaded up and 5+ hour drives, I have never had a problem.

 

I'll beat you to it... I searched and searched but could not find any pictures on fitfreak of the rola roof rack installed. Voila, here it is. I hope this helps to give an idea for those like myself who could not find any images.
