07 fit starting issues in very cold weather.

So this morning is a first let me start by telling you the last few days has been around 10 degrees overnight. I leave for work at 5am and this morning when I went to leave the car started just fine but there was a popping sound when it turned over. I let it warm up for about 15 mins and left and drove 4 miles to the gas station to get gas. When I went to start it again it was dead just clicking and wouldn't turn over. So I got a jump and went home. Went out about two hours later it it started multiple times. I just went out again about 8 hours later and it did the same thing like it did this morning. Popping sound and all. Is it the freezing weather that is making this happen????
