Engine Block Heater - Max Plug-in time
I installed an engine block heater in my '08 and love it! When I'm home, I have it on a timer and 3-4 hrs is enough when it's 0F (-18C). When I'm traveling, some hotels have outdoor outlets. I will carry an extension cord, but not a timer. Is there a maximum time the heater should be plugged in, like is 8 hrs okay?
