engine tempreture hot

engine tempreture hot

hi, my jazz engine temp gauge hot, i notice coolent overflow from expansion tank ,already replace thermostat, radiator cap and water pump,,,,, any idea?

Check that your radiator cores are free of obstruction. A plugged up radiator could also cause overheating.

Use an air hose and blow air backwards (Inside by the engine and out the front of the radiator ).

It wouldn't hurt to also check that the radiator fan comes on properly. They certainly should be operating if the engine temperature is high enough for the light to come on.

I'd also check that the radiator hoses aren't collapsing (particularly the return hose).

If everything else checks out, the water pump would seem to be the logical cause by a process of elimination.
