Best intake manifold/intake combo

Hey guys,

so so I was looking to upgrade my intake manifold and intake. I was wondering if you guys help me find the best combo to have on a automatic engine. Right now I have a stock manifold with a short ram intake. What would be better combo to have if I'm looking for air flow and power? I'm looking at a either a power chamber top fuel or t1r intake. And for the manifold I was looking at the weapon r but I'm not sure if I have to tune it since I have a automatic. Is there any other intake manifold out there that I should consider?

thanks for the help!

Probably not a worthwhile purchase unless you are going to have the car tuned for the modifications.

This.

And either way probably not worthwhile. You're not going to gain much power regardless.

There is a HPD intake manifold that might give a bit, but its almost a unicorn horn to get ahold of one.

I have a Weapon R intake manifold paired with a Last Station chamber intake which I love so far. I was previously using an Apexi power intake which I liked, but the chamber has better response and I can feel the power through more of the band. Also, like what was mentioned above, I am also tuned with a flashpro and I'm also using a R18 Civic throttle body w/throttle body spacer which allows more air flow over stock. With a tune you will notice an increase in power, but don't expect to be racing Evos down the highway.

Do you have your Dyno results on FF? I'm curious to see what the car did. Thanks.

Not as of yet, there is a dyno day coming up near me in a few weeks that i should be able to make it to. Then I'll know for sure, I'm very curious myself.

Truly will be interesting to compare the power and torque curves to a stock setup,
I'm bettng the aftermarket has higher peak power and torque but gives it away at midrange/lower rpm's

intake

If you want to increase power, i suggest high compression pistons ( 12:1:1) or (13:1:1)
Buy a used intake manifold, open it, port inside, then epoxy it, fuel pressure regulator, and then get a good ecu reflash....
