Hey Fit Freakers!

Been a LONG time since I've asked any questions. Mainly because most of my questions were dumb and everyone hated them. (Only slightly kidding.)

But, I'm about 6 years older, and (hopefully) wiser!

So, anyway, I am just about to install some Rockford Fosgate speakers into my Fit after one of my JVC's blew. Didn't want anything too fancy, and yes I'm happy with my choice of speakers and don't need the "Waaaaah, but THESE speakers are so much better!!" I don't care. I'm sure yours are great, I really am, but I bought mine already and don't want to return them.

SO!! I wanted to know if anyone had replaced the factory door panel where the speakers are to add in the aftermarket speaker covers? I think the Rockford ones look really cool, but I don't want to go cutting into the panel only for it to not work.

If anyone has any pictures of theirs/how they managed to do it, that would be extremely helpful!

I haven't seen anyone do it, thought about it myself but decided cutting the door panel would more then likely end in an epic fail lol.

 

Yea, I have a Dremel and the skill to do it, but I just didn't know if it was going to be worth it and wanted to see if anyone else had tried it before. I want to see someone's results to kind of mimic before I go full force.
