How do I replace the condenser fan in my 08?
Hey there, I was posting on here prior about my AC not working after a while and it was determined after testing and measuring that the condenser fan itself was failing, so I ordered a replacement. However, after downloading a copy of Alldata and reviewing my Honda Fit, it is talking about taking off the bumper and pulling the radiator. Other people on this forum are talking about pulling the fan out from under the car and having to pull the oil filter out at the same time.
I heard somewhere you can get it out by pulling the main radiator fan out, then pulling the condenser fan out through the space made by the radiator fan. I have a full tool set and I'm willing to get dirty, but I'm not liking the thought of pulling the radiator or draining the system out to get a fan swapped. Does anyone have better instructions?

Haven't replaced a fan yet.
But once you get over the apprehension of pulling the bumper cover (a common necessity on many vehicles, these days) you may find that you only need to loosen the rad on its mounts (without draining it).
Have you SEARCHED for YouTube vids?
