Hi folks

We bought a Jazz with a terrible vibration on engine and shudder on takeoff. Clutch was replaced as well as the engine mountings. The price seemed low enough to make up for the repairs... Did anybody replace mountings with after market ones and got a 100% successful end? The mounting on right of engine is an oil filled mounting and seem to play a big part in removing vibrations from the engine. My assumption is that the non-genuine mounting worked for a few days and then it could not do the trick anymore ... Is this possible? Did anybody experience this before? The original part is more than 4.5 times the after market one's price ...

I replaced the gearbox and engine mountings after 10years with original parts. Also make sure u replace the cvt fluid if auto. I had no issues since. However currently my gearbox mounting is leaking oil. Honda only covers a 1 year warranty only. I am also looking at replacing it with aftermarket because of cost and the original only lasted 2 yrs.
