Post Need help with motor swap

New to the forum and to a FIT

I have a 2008 Manual Tramission GD3, Hydrolocked the motor and want to swap the motor and in the process of looking to replace it with another L15A, but all i could find around me to are automatic FIt's. Can i replace the motor and just attach my transmission on it and call it a day?

Any help is welcomed

If oil pans differ, oil pickups may also differ. So probably not that simple. But, if the pickups are the same, then yes. Probably.

Consider the total cost in parts and time.
Is it worth doing the swap vs buying another fit, perhaps one with body damage so you can swap the body panels vs the engine?
Or just junk the whole thing?
