Honda Fit 09 Short ram intake

I'm sure there's many place with this discution but I couldn't find anything...

What are the Short Ram Intake choices I can put in my Fit 09?

I've seen many like AEM, Injen, Fujita, K&N, etc for the 07-08... But nothing excepts crap-with-names-I-don't-know from eBay.

Could you help me please =)!

Sure I would be glad to.
The short ram might be especially effective on the 09 because some cooler air is ducted to that area.
The one that 10's of people have on this site is the PRM, They are a vendor here and can be found in the vendor section. Very tuned into our Fit community, great quality and great to work with.
Other than that, one guy I think has the K&N (the 07-08 version I believe didnt make any power, the 09 might be better).
One guy might have the Last Station, and Maybe nobody has a Fujita yet.

So we are mainly PRM here and I believe every review has been a good one (also they are in Canada). Hope that helps

the k&n makes 4.5hp and unlike the prm, it has low end power gains. torque ftw!

Unfortunately its not out yet. If you need one right now then PRM is your only choice, and a very good choice. Although I personally am going to wait for the K&N.

Have they posted torque numbers yet?

Honestly, the 2 all in all are just short rams, one is not going to be very different than the other, especially on the low RPM side. It is difficult too, one guys dyno shows 1 at 2.5 or whatever and the other does not, I mean if you know anything about dyno runs, it is a wash. The thing is, get what you want, that will be the best one for you

I did go with the PRM CAI, as those numbers were +6HP and +4 torque, down side is wont fit AT, and going thru deep water is out of the question

PRM is still going to offer the CAI design? Thought they only sold the few they had already made. I'm scared to get an intake like that after the water I swam through.

I don't think the old PRM is a two piece. The new intake PRM is currently selling is only a short ram. Same design as the K&N except with no heat shield and a different filter.

i think they changed to short ram only so it will fit AT. but email PRM to see if they still sell the cold air two piece for the GE8.

Thank you! I really need a SRI and not a CAI because I run the intake in Quebec Canada, and the winter is BAD for Cold air! And I don't want to remove it for winter.

I would be interested in what you end up doing Fern. I am in Western Ontario. Have the same Taffy Fit.
