Not sure about buddy club... but tanabe makes great exhaust. Medalion would be pretty quite and such. I think they have sound sample on their website...

Didn't know BC had any exhausts released for the GE8 yet??

Anyrate, BC will almost always be louder than Tanabe regardless of models. BC is more geared towards racing, weight savings, etc while Tanabe seems like more of an everyday tuner company and probably more liveable on the street. It's tough to say without comparing specific models though.
