who has the weapon r header ge8

just wondering if anyone has the header?

thefit09 04-29-2010 06:14 PM

I started an identical thread, wanted to know who has it. Only ff'er I know with it is the guy who tested it for WeaponR. He talked about it in the thread when WeaponR was developing it. I REALLY want it, just pretty expensive, especially without multiple opinions.

I've also been dying to get one of thses to make a little more HP...

Discussion/argument around: is it a header, downpipe, combination or other was moved here

Vash 04-29-2010 08:43 PM

quick question. does it cut out the first cat? i might be interested in buying 1

k20a298ek 04-29-2010 10:48 PM

yes completly removes both cats. but i think it will be very loud with t1r-50s+b pipe.

Tork 04-29-2010 11:43 PM

I am interested in the down pipe, keeping my main cat in place (not using that second flex pipe piece)

mole177 04-30-2010 03:03 AM

is there a link or picture roaming around?

the header is integrated with the block ??

Roam no more, I am linking this bad boy. This is a great topic!

Attachment 48655

works has a similar piece at least for the downpipe part of it

and just to paint a complete picture, here is the stock Fit pre-cat and cat the above aftermarket parts would replace

I'm in search of something like that, only question I have for it is if one remove all the cats, would we need to use O2 eliminaters or will the stock ECU work on both the lambda sensors without the cats.

mole177 05-02-2010 02:17 PM

so i take it the "water bottle" type cat is removed and replaced with weapon r ?

dela 05-02-2010 02:23 PM

looks like both cats are removed

k20a298ek 05-02-2010 03:30 PM

This is certainly going to through a 'catalyst efficency below threshold' OBD code. I know some ways around it though.

FitDEEZ 05-04-2010 06:41 AM

555sexydrive 05-04-2010 08:00 AM

It looks good, but I'm wondering where the primary O2 sensor is. Maybe I'm just not seeing it.

Vash 05-04-2010 10:24 AM

i kinda wanna know how this will sound with the stock muffler, because i want to try the keep the car quiet still.
