RACELINE USA Supercharger Kit
I hope this comes to fruition. Been stalking performance communities waiting to catch word of a Turbo or SC kit in development for the GE8 that has a name/brand behind it. Knowing something is out there at least gives a goal to reach; in the mean time waiting for the car's warranty to run out.
Aggravating that Honda has nothing certified for such a fun little car.
My best wishes to you.
Edit: Checked out the RACELINEUSA.COM website; sprucing it up a bit will definitely pay off. There are some internal links that are not working on my end like the 'About Us' and 'Direction' pages.
Check if the hosting is on a Shared Grid Server. Looks like it is hosted by Go Daddy from the generated 'Oops' messages. If the site was created in 2005 you might still be on a slower legacy server. Your hosting company should be able to migrate the entire site to the grid without any additional cost.
Be sure to create a back-up!
Sincerely,
Trevor

What's taking so long? I'm only 1 person and it didn't take a month starting from absolute scratch.
Just kidding I understand what it takes to build a kit stable enough to be sold to people who can barely turn a wrench and call customer support when they can't get a tbolt clamp on.

hate to say this but my interest has moved on to sprintex... damn I hate to be a GE owner LOL

Hey guys,
I'm sorry to say that there is still no word on the production of the kits. You guys may seem to think that it's easy to start a mass production of quality supercharger kits, but unfortunately it's not that simple. We're still waiting for HKS to give us the green light to supply us with more GT Superchargers. They want to be sure that we're going to be able to sell them. Say we order 10 GT Superchargers and only sell 3. Now that's a bad situation. Both Raceline and HKS get screwed.

Our supercharger will be of the Rotrex type.

I've just reviewed all of the information that I can find on the Sprintex S/C option for the Jazz, and Sprintex clearly makes more than one reference to offering S/C option for the US market, and specifically the worldwide small engine market as development evolves. If Raceline and HKS's joint venture requires a "comfort level" that you could absolutely sell a small number of kits (maybe with some feeder money from us to get development started), well, that isn't going to get the masses knocking down your door.
When a manufacturer makes the buying decision reasonable, logical and quick for the consumer, the company clinging to the "when we feel the interest is high enough" mantra just lost my interest. Sprintex is doing what many of us have been asking for - right now. Having FitFreak members flooding their email with GE8 inquiries only solidifies what they already know. They recognize this market opportunity is only going to GROW. It's not about making a kit just for the Fit, it's about making S/C kits for smaller, fuel efficient engines/vehicles that are already a sizable aspect of the automobile market, and will only continue to grow. Something like this could be a solid money maker for your business for the next 10-15 years. Sprintex even mentions that they are no longer developing kit for large displacement engines (that really don't need it, and thus have a much smaller consumer base for that very reason).
I have been following this thread since it started, but I'm jumping over the the Sprintex thread now, since there is actually a product to read about.
