Getting ready to install the T1R springs this weekend on my GE8 so I'm wondering who cuts their bumpstops and who didn't and mileage you all riding on the springs. I did a little research here and notice that some did and others didn't and ride seem to be ok but I am thinking it is because the stock shocks can handle the drop for the time being but once it is worn from wear and tear so sooner or later it will ride on the bumpstops.

 

I used to have these springs and I didn't cut the bumpstop and the car rides fine.

i didn't cut my bump stops. car rides fine. have had them on since june last year....been driving them all summer. as of now, i'm driving 200Kms a day for work, and the car handles great. no complaints here.
