CRZ motor, but basically a L15. Nice build up. Never really see this kinda stuff over here.....UK FTW!

They picked up 2.x HP at the hubs = even less at the ground
Lord knows how much they spent on the Mugen bits for that small of a gain.
And, if they did not have a tuning system it certainly would be the same as no gain when the ECU dials it back.
Also, as I pointed out the first time this build was posted up earlier in the year.. that vertically mounted turbine shaft is a big no-no.
A Garrett rep gets wind of that and say good bye to any warranty the CHRA had.

I know.. just stirring it up a bit. Didn't know they had any on-board management to get those gains. I do like the added response of the intake. Seems to charge forward on throttle tip-in a bit more. Anyways, the CR-Z has a lot of work put into it, but I have no idea about the turbo config, but it sounds like they had to get creative at the expense of reliability.

They do seem to know what they're doing, though. Always surprising to find out this type of high-end tuning (port modeling? new to me) finds a market among people who have only $23,000 to spend on a car. Maybe people take the CRZ seriously in the UK, hehe
