GE8: Cat back exhausts

Found this one. Looks good. Anyone have it or know where ratings are? How loud is it?

YMCB-FIT0913
Yonaka 2009-2013 Honda Fit Catback Exhaust

(search of "YMCB-FIT0913" yielded no results)

Also considering high-flow cat. Goal is more WHP without much noise and/or hassle.

Want to break into the 8s for 5-60 MPH times. (At low 9s at the moment).

Already have HPS Short-ram and it took 1.4 secs off 5-60. Indexed spark-plugs with IK22s. 195-50 19lb tires (lighter&wider than stock).

Thanks for reading the post.

Ever since your comparison thread on SRI, I bought the HPS intake.. I haven't installed yet do to waiting for my Magnaflow muffler. Gonna do custom piping but I don't want raspy so I've been on youtube listening to different fit exhaust setups. No droning. Just a smooth rumble like the Apex-i WS exhausts I normally purchase. I can't wait to follow this thread.

Thank you. You didn't find it a tad "raspy" after cat delete with all the popping? I posted that I bought a MagnaFlow muffler. Next thing I'd like to have is Weapons race header (downpipe). Trying to stay mellow to not wake the neighborhood kind of exhaust.

Here's is a pic of the one I got... I'm really sorry for sizc. I could not find any smaller so don't yell at a a very activemember.

Your car sounds pretty bad ass. I'm not a fan of loud exhausts but that bass sound is intoxicating. If only my wife would drive another vehicle. I know it'd annoy me on drives but it sounds good from here.

i like loud but not ridiculously loud. thats why i sold the yonaka to the base model after maybe a week or 2. just too loud and raspy with the header.

The MagnaFlow wouldn't fit so getting the Yonaka. After doing custom piping etc, it's a cheaper alternative. This exhaust looks very similar to Tanabe Medallion Touring except catback so should give a tad more power I'd expect...

It was raspy? Did you remove the resonator.

nope. but the resonator on the yonaka is probably not the best in the first place. if the piping was 2.25" i would still have it. just swap out resonator for a vibrant one.

Agree with you 100%.

Did a SRI install yesterday and it feels like i did a K-Swap....sorry...it only sounds like I did a swap....the feel is something I am led to believe via the awesome sound!!

Im still on the fence with Yonaka....I like the sound of my FiT now since the SRI install. Will the exhaust make it be alot louder you think? (I would install the Yonaka only...NO de-cat or removal of resonators.)

I never updated this but I purchased a Tanabe Medallion Touring exhaust. Sounds great. Very mellow.

I've got the yonaka cat back, haven't installed it yet as I'm worried about the sound with my HPS SRI being a bit too much. Guess will just have to see

Found this about sound of exhaust:

Yonaka 2009-2013 Honda Fit Catback Exhaust

Love to see and hear a video of it - the sound at all RPMs.

Had my HPS SRI howling today as I was in the Vtec. A guilty pleasure. A 4-cyl should not make this much noise (says all the V-8 muscle cars and convertible car owners) I pass (or try to pass)! lol
