hello, i have a usdm 2010 tw ge8 and i have been thinking of what i want to do with the front end; i did want to throw a jdp cf front lip on it, but i changed my mind.

now im thinking either, cf hood with a usdm mugen front underbody spoiler

or

to get the mugen body kit (similiar to the kit on JR-racing's tw ge8)

i have been searching and dont find a lot of info on the mugen body kit. is it simply a bumper and grill replacement? or do i have to do some conversions to get that done..also i am unable to find sites that sell it, does anybody know the approximate cost?

AJR's ge8 has been jdm converted and they have done a jdm mugen kit on it. if you want that particular look youll have to convert to a jdm front end, which in fact is mucho $$$ and the jdm mugen kit shipped from japan is mucho serious $$$$$$$.

you can go the simpler route and just slap on the usdm mugen kit honda sells directly. even then the kit does not come cheap. i guess the price is fair seeing as they come factory color matched.

if you are serious about the jdm mugen kit, good luck with everything and i hope you can shell out more than half your car's new msrp for exterior mods.

 

oh man thats a little too much for my budget hahahah well i guess ill go with slapping on a usdm mugen front underbody and have a carbon fiber hood or something thanks for the information

 

I just bought a new 10 base sport. Am I correct in assuming that the front underspoiler will not work with the base model's front end? Will any of the other parts of the mugen kit work with a base fit?

 

MUGEN front under spoiler works with GE8 Sport model only. If FIT Base model, you need to change your front bumper first.

MUGEN front grille will work with FIT base model.

Side under spolier will work with FIT base model without any modifications.

MUGEN rear under spoiler will work with FIT Sport model only. Otherwise, you need to change rear bumper to Sport rear bumper. Then MUGEN rear under spoiler will work.
