Since you're going cheap on the tow hook, just have it powdercoated.

Let me know too please, I'm in for two of the blue. Potentially 4. Looks like they'd make awesome Kayak tie-down hooks. Wish they had 4 predrilled connections.

I bought the red one off E-bay and had my friend Brent powder coat it for me. Looks great and we drilled a hole in the cover so it looks cleaner. Yes, also have a sticker above it that has TOW on it because we got tired of people asking me what it was. One lady was bent down looking at it when I came out from the Dollar Store and asked me if it was one of those car cameras! LOL!

Never had a need for tow hooks before but....they look good. Do they bounce against the car or are they kinda fixed in place?

I'll look around for some that Fit ours...

Haven't order yet. Still trying to find best price, best quality, best shipping, best color, etc. Gonna take a little more time. But please do post yours when you get it.

Thanks

LOL @ legit. LOL @ JDM.

When and why did tow hooks become so popular? SRSLY, how often are you guys having to get your Fits towed????

Why not make one out of cardboard and just spray paint it blue? It's just for looks so it doesn't have to be functional....right?

Well then by that standard we would all have stock OEM cars. I jest...

No I think when I look up and down my street at all the cars...None of them are washed, or cared for in any way. Heck I've been looking for a Fit that has any mods at all since buying mine and all I can see are old and neglected civics circa 98-02 that have black hoods and rusted wheel wells and winter tires on steelies in the middle of summer...fully oxidized headlights....you get the idea.

The standard is very high on this site. A lot of you have a real big problem with the amount of cheese going into and onto these Fits.

But I do respect your quest to keep the cars on this site in line with some sort of standard. It's always good to be reminded that all that cheese will not replace a good intake, sway bar, springs and a descent set of tire and wheel combo. That's where the money should be going. After all if more people invested in these parts then the companies would be more willing to produce high quality parts for Fits. On that front I support PRM, Progress, Fast wheels, and Michelin.

Being different is not the issue. I believe the ebay keyword JDM has cheapened the meaning and let the term loosely fit all car accesories. Food for thought, its a lot easier to steal a car that has a tow hook
