The GE8 hood deflector

Did some reading. Was produced in Canada by Zeta products and is currently discontinued.

Allegedly it is being made OEM by Honda - however my local Honda shop cannot find it in their system.

Anyone know a part number or where exactly I can get one from?

I'm looking for the legitimate deflector - not that silly aero one that exists.

There might be a part# number listed in the video not sure.

Someone recently brought one but had to order in Canada I think it is no longer available here.

Scroll down where it says hood edge deflector, it's $173 (CAD?). I pmed a member on here from Canada for the part number, wasn't very helpful or maybe did not understand my question.

Wonder if anyone else kicks one out for a little cheaper?

I brought mine from Zeta Products when they were selling them a lot cheaper. I am surprised that it is still a accessory in Canada but not the USA.

Why not just go the 3M Scotchgard Clear Bra route?
Although price does change with location, you are going to get more (and better) protection for the same or less than the link from Canada.

3M Dealer Locator

Be sure to ask for Scotchgard. Just a thought.

Thinking of selling my deflector in the spring. Let me know if you're interested!

Decided not to go the OEM route and went with the AVS (Auto Vent Shade) version instead

Installed in a few mins only with the provided double-sided tape

I think it goes well with my whole theme

Nice, how much does it flip up? Doesn't look as aggressive as the oem one so I'd have to wonder how well it actually deflects objects over the hood and windshield.

looks like all it does is protect those first few inches of hood.

Thanks, it at least helps to stop anything going further than that section but it's primary use is protecting the hood.

I will update this thread over time to let people know how it's holding up

That's the most important part, that trailing edge of the hood is what sees the most damage. The rest of the hood is in good shape but that portion is really chipped
