Help finding a touchscreen HU for audiophile with BT, AUX, and USB inputs
Does anyone know of a decent aftermarket head unit that has midrange controls as well as bass/treble that will work with the USB input? I want a toucscreen with bluetooth that's got an intuitive user interface for those of us with upwards of 10k songs on our iPods. Nav and/or dvd would be cool but not necessary. Ideally, I'd like to keep an AUX jack around for quick and dirty input.
The mediocre speakers can have a bit more quality milked out of them with a bettter HU and possibly a small sub in the future...Any recommendations on those?
I have a 2nd Gen Fit Sport w/o nav. The sound system needs a major overhaul if I'm going to be keeping this car. I want to start with the HU.
I'm hoping some audiophile out there has the perfect set-up and can save me from accidentally buying a $5-700 piece of Chinese crap.
Cheers.
P.S.
On I side note, I stupidly scratched up my rims...any price-performer replacements I could jump on?

Pioneer AVH-P4300DVD DVD receiver at Crutchfield.com
Something like this + the blutooth adapter. I love my pioneer.
I would not buy from Crutchfiled though...they are expensive as the do full retail.

Gotta put my .02cents in of course, and I am an ALPINE freak!
Alpine Electronics of America, Inc.
Just so you can see the features and specs of the unit, has built in bluetooth and more.
You can probably find this unit for around $750 new online, and it's a beast I know 2 people who have it and it's amazing.

I've got an Alpine W505 in the Fit, a W205 in the Accord and just installed one of the DNX9980 (I think that was the model number, what ever is the top unit in the Excelon series) that was very impressive. He says the BT is echo free and it pairs well with his iPhone 4. Obviously the nav is garmin and awesome and it's a 5V with the capacity for 5.1.
