OEM mods

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for ideas for OEM mods for my 2009 base Fit... So far, here's what I've done, all OEM spec....
- full Mugen kit/ Sport bumper
- 2013 seats
- 2013 cubby
- 2013 radio
- USB to cubby
- OEM floor mats (on order), as pathetic as that sounds....
- JDM hazard

Anything I could be adding as OEM options??? I'm currently on the hunt for a new steering wheel, previous one is old and tired, love to get a Sport one with radio buttons but can't find for life of me...

You could also try to source some Mugen parts. I wouldn't call them OEM, but they make some really tasteful and quality parts for Hondas.

Most, if not all, Fit parts made by Mugen are discontinued now though, so you'd have to find used parts.

Honda added some door padding for your arms in 2012, not that i would seriously pay for new door cards, but you could consider something like that.

Also some subtle interior chrome touches, which add a little bit of class.

Progress rear sway bar is OE ... Right?😂

I've actually updated from the 09 front seats to the late GE8 front seats, should prob do door inserts and rear benches. Currently hunting for a leather steering wheel pref with radio buttons added.

if you want an actual performance upgrade you can swap your rear "axle" for the sport version which upgrades to a built in sway bar.
also theres the sport aluminum pedal covers

and we need some pics of your car!!

I think so, I think they’re horrible, I opted for Mugen kit first, going with 2013 style wheels, just need tires. Buddy keeps hounding me to buy RPF1s but here, they’re so overdone....

anything is better than steelies .
unfortunately every wheel is over done. they cant really invent anything else style wise regarding wheels. just get what you like and what fits. whats in style now will soon go out...then be back in 10 years.

its kinda tricky matching wheels to the mugen kit in my opinion. its so aggressive it almost needs wide dished wheels...but our cars dont take much lower than a +40ish offset...unless your planning on rolling fenders....which 9 times out of 10 ends up looking booty.

That’s a really good point. Steelies are super crummy and can rust easy here in Canada if not taken care of. I did full 3M undercoating. I can’t stand rust.

also I’d never roll fenders.
