Normal RPM

Hi New here and new the fit. I just purchased a 2010 sport MT and was wondering where the rpms should be at 70 mph? I have a 3/4 ton truck that turns 2000 at 70 and this car seems high at 3500. Is this normal?

It's normal. I know how you feel. Gears, not enough of them, need more.
But that's what this engine is made for.
