My driver's side door handle has seen better days. The color has faded from repeated handling. Does something exist to kind of add some shine/luster to it? Would it look bad?

It's an '09 gray. How do I get the exact matching color? Is there a code?

 

There is an exact color code inside your door jam. But I'm guessing it's this one. There is no gray in 2009, only silver.

Is it worth it to get clear coat for small scratch jobs?

 

To answer my own question, no, don't put clear coat on. Especially if it's the brush on type because clear coat should be sprayed on. Touch up paint is for small areas, too small for clear coat to be useful, at least that's what some googling says.
