Cracking/Creaking sound not from engine bay?

Hey guys, so when accelerating from a stop or braking from low speeds, I can hear a weird noise almost like my chassis brittle and cracking apart, or I have a bunch of pebbles rolling around somewhere. I have a feeling that this might be a sign of clogged water drains, or worst case scenario, catastrophic rust. My old car creaked the same way and was scrapped by the guy I sold it to because of rust. I'm hoping that it's just clogged drains, but I can't find any info on where the plugs are located. Any ideas?

Gotta get under it to see what needs to be seen. Check bushings around wheels. Worn down steering/suspension components can make a car creak like a boat.
If you're driving over salted roads, be sure to wash off that undercarriage regularly.

I have the exact same problem with my 2012 Fit, and I came to these forums for this very reason. Let me know if you find out what it is. For me, accelerating from a dead stop or braking at lower speeds causes this creak/groan. The pads were replaced by the dealer a year ago (low milage car), so I don't think it's the brake pads.
