Hello All! - I have recently bought a Honda Fit GE13 Automatic Transmission 1330CC Petrol imported from Japan (kmage: 33,000). I am experiencing instances where my vehicle is stopped in traffic and when I press the accelerator, it emits an electronic continuous beep sound. What I have to do is switching the car off and restarting it and it works normally. This happened 4 or 5 times during 300km of use. Anyone has an idea why is this sound coming on so I understand what I am doing wrong.

 

Update: This sound is being emitted in instances when I press brake, gas, brake and then gas (mostly in slow moving traffic) and only when the car is stationary. Once this sound is on, the car moves very slowly. I usually have to switch everything off and restart it.

 

Update: I finally found what is causing this. It seems that when I press gas and brake by mistake (it happens cause I am big footed), the car either beeps a bit or beep continuously and stops working. More of a safety feature than an issue then! Posting here in case someone encounters this same problem
