A/C Compressor ALWAYS Cycling - even though A/C & Defrost OFF

I've recently realized that my 2009 Fit Sport A/C compressor is always cycling, even when the A/C button is off, AND the selector is NOT set to either of the two defrost options.

I understand Honda's compressors cycle often, and I know that defrost calls for the A/C system to run. However, in my case, I can have the temperature selector at the warmest setting, the blower set to floor only, and the A/C button is off, but the A/C compressor is still cycling just as if I was actually on an A/C setting (or defrost).

Anyone experience this or have any ideas of where to stat looking for solutions?

So not getting any replies, I figured I might be the only one with an experience like this. Decided to try swapping out the AC relay, even though those are normally the cause of AC NOT working (opposed to my compressor constantly cycling even when not turned on), and voila, it appears to be fixed! Possibly the relay was "stuck" in the on position?

Relays can indeed get stuck in either position. If its always on, relay makes the most sense and was a great call. Always off, fuse and relay are both good starts. Sorry you didn't get a hand, but glad to say it sounds fixed! was

Relays can also be intermittent in many ways...
