I’m considering purchasing a stage 2 performance chip for my 2009 FS. Anyone have experience with adding this type of accessory?

 

waste of money unless you buy something like a Hondata link and find someone to tune and even then you're talking less than 7 or so hp. Lighter wheels do more than any sort of "chip" will do. Even the guys who go forced induction only get about 160 before blowing new viewports in the crank.

 

Garbage. Those don't do anything.

 

Stick 2 together for a cheap, dual-core stage 4 chip. Make sure you run it with a good name brand salsa.

 

If you do have other mods that a tune could make useful, i think people use K-Tuner or something (I have zero experience with that stuff) and I think you'd need to log data of how your engine runs with the mods presently, your desired octane, and pass said data on to an independent tuner guy..
