2013 Sport Shifter = OEM Short Shifter

FYI
Ended up purchasing a T1R short shifter for my 2013 Honda Fit Sport but during installation I just realized something...
The stock shifter assembly for this car is completely different from other Fits and already shortened to almost the same as the T1R.
All the photos I've seen online show the majority of Fit models with a white shifter assembly with a plastic ball on the lever.
The 2013 Sport model comes with an all black assembly that is designed slightly different with a completely metal lever and ball. The shaft below the ball is almost identical in length to the T1R.
So in the end there was hardly any difference.

Might just need to purchase a shifter adapter to make a difference like the Skunk2 or is there another brand that is even shorter than T1R?

What's wrong with the original shifter.
I wouldn't ever bother but I guess you want the fit to be a race car... or you want to feel sporty? Are you young?

Sounds like it already has a Buddyclub shifter.

Yeah all the OEM shifters are that nylon yellow-ish color, that sounds a lot like the buddy club I just sold.

Where were you able to find that T1R shifter? I can't find any brand short shifter kits right now...

My feelings exactly.

The m/t shifter in my Fit....is perfect. And it's original with only 245K miles on it.
I seldom race it. 😀

Maybe grab the shifter by the shaft....instead of the knob? (that would shorten it up)

Are any of those shifters up for sale by you?
