That makes sense. And I'll admit my brake fluid is over-due.

Maybe I'll see if I can try one some day. Some local Fit guys must be running them.

I installed Air Lift 1000 air spring helpers (model 60904) for my rear coil springs. They help limit squatting of the rear when carrying heavy loads and I also like them for stiffening up the rear when I tow my small cargo trailer. And I guess my Curt trailer hitch is another "best" thing I've added to the car.

^^^ Nice!
I put a Draw-Tite hitch on mine.
I use it only for a Swagman bike carrier and a small utility trailer.

That would be great for a tire/ tool/ track day trailer.

Another pic with the Swagman bike carrier. Can't even tell it's back there...and no tethers to fasten.

Here's a picture of the Curt hitch for comparison. It's less wide from side to side than the Draw-Tite (not saying either is better ) and has a "Tee" configuration with a mount that goes under the spare tire pan. I thought that feature might make it better able to handle trailer tongue loads.

Here's the "little big rig" on a long haul.
