Hi.
I love my base but it does not have a cool spoiler.
Can I just go to the junkyard and get a GE Sport Hatch and replace that in my 2011 Base?
Please let me know. I don't know if drilling or taping or gluing a spoiler is the right move for my base model.

Don't see why not? The sport doesn't have a keyhole for the hatch unlock, so you'll be losing that.

I haven't been able to try it yet.

I'm waiting on my tax refund and more importantly, waiting on local junkyards to have a part that I can pull out.

 

This is important.

Also, just buy the wing and pop it on your current hatch. Save some of that refund.

 

I swapped a sport tailgate onto a base this weekend. No issues. Use a ladder to help hold it while you put the bolts on. Don't install the hydraulics until you have the tailgate fitted properly.

I don't care it doesn't have a keyhole as I have two fobs.

Looks great and no more dent from my foot lol 😆
