Door locks frantically lock and unlock after driving and exiting the car.

Hey everyone, having a weird problem with my fit (ge8-2009 MT Sport). Sometimes after driving when I get out of my car the door locks go crazy locking and unlocking. The doors fight my key if I try to unlock it. It doesn’t always happen and I can’t find any patterns to the madness. At one point I thought it fixed itself but after unplugging and reconnecting the battery the problem came back. I’ve found posts of others with similar problems but I can’t find any info on how or if they solved the problem. From what I’ve read I think the problem could be the door lock actuator, the master control switch in the d rivers door, or a wiring problem. Does anyone have advice on how to narrow down the problem? I don’t want to just throw parts at it.

I saw this in a Linda Blair movie once. You need a priest, a crucifix and a dozen glazed donuts.

Note: I always eat donuts when I watch a movie.

I had the exact same problem, clicking while I was driving and when I got out the car, after searching here and on YouTube I finally fixed the problem, I was a bad drivers door actuator that was the problem, I replaced it with a eBay replacement, immediately after installing it the clicking stop, it was a direct replacement, no modification was needed. Peace
