How to safely remove a 30A fuse?

Blower fan is not coming on. I figure it is probably the blower motor resistor. But I wanted to check the fuse first.
The fuse is number 57 and is one of the flat 30A ones.

How do you remove it? Just pry it out very carefully with a screwdriver or is there a better way?

There are all-plastic fuse pullers that come in different sizes for different type fuses. That's the safest thing to use since there's no risk of any metal shorting something out. You can check an auto parts store or an online source like Amazon.

Actually, look inside the fuse box or the back of the lid. There may be a puller clipped in there.

I just pull them with my fingers.

It should be what they call the mini type if it needs replacement.
