Rear Bumper Protector GE8

Does anyone know where to get something like this for 2013 Honda Fit Sport GE8? Or do they even make it for my car? I have seen the plastic sticker ones, but i like the aluminum ones. Thanks

That looks terrible. The black ones from Honda work and look much better.

They do get a premium price for them though!! I want one as I transport two 80lb labs and bikes often, but I think I will make one from skateboard deck grip tape.

$50 is not expensive for a pre-cut ready to install plastic piece. And is not as aggressive of a grippy surface as skateboard grip tape. I wouldn't recommend using that as you not walking on it.

I am thinking more about traction for the dogs then anything else. Is there any texture to the plastic, or is it fairly smooth/slick?

It's like a scratch guard. Not a step. Slick.

Ok thanks! I've got one on my GX470 and the dogs do really struggle to get traction on it getting in and out. I've thought a few times that grip tape would be a good idea, and likely help avoid scratches due to sliding across the slick plastic.

That's a great idea. Get the OEM guard and throw some grip tape on it. Then you can take the whole thing off and replace it when it's all torn up.

Yeah I just might do that. I know the rear bumper is going to get tore up in short order between the bike and dog transports.
