Navigation calendar issuse

Navigation calendar issuse

2010 Honda Fit with navigation. I have isse with the date being wrong like in 2003 and I can adjust it. Any clues??

It's a mathematical fault with how the radio interprets the time sent from GPS satellites. Long story short it's impossible to fix, will never be fixed. It's hard coded into the hardware. This affects all Honda's from the era with GPS derived timekeeping.

My 2009 Fit GPS date was just corrected after I installed the latest navigation CD, dated 2021. During the initial disc insert it said it was downloading software from the satellite and not to turn it off during the process.
