Side Skirt Repair

The joys of sharing a car! My wife is a good driver, but shes just not as accustomed to smaller cars as she mainly drives her Rav4 or our Pilot. She let me know that the side skirt got messed up after a shallow turn so now I have a project to see if I can salvage this skirt.

Has anybody done a repair to this extent? I was going to use 3M VHB double sided tape, and/or MacGyver some mounts with some random materials.

So I fixed this by making some make shift mounts that attach to the little brackets using some bondo, auto goop, and some old gift cards. It attached just fine, but figured 3M tape would seal the deal.

Kind of ghetto... but just testing this to see how well this will hold up.

I dig the improvisation! This is why I have boxes of random scraps and brackets in the garage, you never know what you are going to have to make work.
