Paddle Shift only works when engaged to D (Drive)

Good day everyone! I recently joined this group and I am grateful to be part of your community.

When I shift my transmission to S (SPORTS mode), my speedometer does not indicate to "S" (not turned to green) and my paddle shifters are not working. So basically, when turned to S, my Fit feels like in NEUTRAL.
But when transferred to D (DRIVE), paddle shifters work and indicates what gear I am. What could be the possible problem and solution for this?

DISCLAIMER, pardon my English, I am from the Philippines
I would love to hear from you and will be grateful enough for some insights and help!

I'd be looking to see if the module is sensing the correct signal when in S. It sounds like it could be a "command" issue, aka faulty gear selector or faulty position switch. Look at the prior first. Get a proper machine hooked to it. Good luck.
