Does anyone have any pictures of their 26r battery install? I want to put another battery into my 09 but I can't seem to find any pictures or references to go off of. I didn't want to do a 51r/121r as those are far more expensive options as of right now.

I don't currently have any pics of my 26r battery installation,, but I installed one of these batteries in my car about 3 years ago and it's, by far, better than the 51 or 151 batteries in my opinion-. It's bulkier than the 51 or 151, but it doesn't have clearance issues like the Civic replacement. It installs on the original metal battery tray with some minor modifications needed to the tray, plus the addition of a plastic tray from a '06-'11 Hyundai Accent, for the battery to sit in, and also slight modification to the positive battery cable end. The battery cable mod is necessary because of it's odd design and the slightly different position of the positive battery post where it comes out of the case. The major benefit of this battery is it is rated at 665 cranking amps and 540 cold cranking amps- which is waaay more cranking amps than the the original battery or the Civic upgrade battery has.

I did a write up of the 26r installation,, but it was rather long and detailed and I didn't take pics as I installed it- so it's currently just sitting in a file on my computer...lol.. PM me for more info if you need it.
