Another water leak post. 2013 Sport

At the beginning of last year, I went on a vacation. When I came back, I discovered about 2" of standing water in my driver footwell. After getting everything dried out, I was unable to find the leak. I paid a mechanic to take a look at it, but after soaking my car with a hose for a day, and not finding the problem, he gave me the car back and sent me on my way. So ever since then I've been trying to find the leak.

One thing of note was that there was a significant snow storm while I was on vacation, which subsequently melted before I returned from vacation. There was likely about 6" of snow on top of the Fit. The problem came and went, worse during cold weather, but still happened during warmer weather. I checked body plugs, soaked the car myself, door panel, rear hatch hinges, and even the roof gutters. I'd gotten a little burned out on it.

This leads me to this post that I discovered from a couple months ago now.

Mosswax mentions that he borrowed a borescope to look for the potential cause in the headliner. Sure enough there was a problem there.

I'm at the end of my rope over here so I said "F*ck it" and bought an endoscope to do the same thing. I get camera about 3 hours ago and go out to poke around. This is what I find. I inserted the camera from the headliner near the sun visor, and pushed it towards where the gutter and the windshield meet. Here's what I saw. Please excuse the crappy photos, I'm going to try to get better photos and videos tomorrow.

If you remember, I said that I had checked the gutters, but I didn't see anything. Well, now I go back and take a closer look and I actually see what I hope is the problem. Except it may actually be 2 problems. I have drivers side photos, which is the location of the problem, and passenger side for reference.

Problem #1- hairline crack about 3" long circled in Red

Potential Problem #2- the weatherstripping seems odd to me, and I'm looking for input. Circled in Yellow.

Is the Red circle on the drivers side indeed a crack that could cause the water leak?

Is the weatherseal on the drivers side windshield correct?

And finally, how serious is the rust above my headboard? Will the rusting progress if I dry it out? Do I need to do something else? I need this car to last at least another 5 years and having the top of the driver door frame rust out would make me sad. Hell, I'll even cut a slot in the headliner to spray rust converter if its necessary.

Thank you all!

That is good to know.
Everything rust here.
I'm sure it will leak sooner or later.
