Brake light bulb wired all messed up 2010

Think I could find a pigtail at the salvage yard and splice it in to fix this monkey bussinss?

 

Looks fine to me, looks like they added a couple of taps to the existing wires. Use a flathead screwdriver and open up the covers for those taps and then pry them open to remove them, then just add some electrical tape on where the wire was spliced into and call it a day. Previous owner was a hack unfortunately

 

Do you have a hitch with wiring? If so, it might be the hitch wiring...

 

Bulb, I feel dumb but lucky hah.
