Best street brake pad for the dollar?

Asking now that I ordered and received these from rockauto lol. Soooo how badly did I spend my dollars? I wanted something better than just plain old parts store brand replacements since I noticed they're squealing lately when I come to a stop.

Normally. pads that are made to better support heat will tend to squeal when not hot enough.

If you brake hard instead of normally, do they squeal?

I put PowerStop pads on my STI a year or two ago and they have been great. Minimal dusting. Have tons of life left on them and stop amazing. Will put some on my Fit when the time comes. Looks like they make 3 different version pads for the Fit.

I went with AC Delco for pads/ shoes, rotors/ drums and it made me regret ever wasting money on Stoptec parts.

I'm running EBC Reds right now and they feel great after years of running OEM style replacements. If you're not tracking your car or going on canyon runs a few times a week, they're a great option.

They have good stopping when you need them, quiet, low dust and noise.

Big fan of Akebono.....they make a lot of the OE pads. Currently running the ProACT ceramic pads and they have been excellent with virtually no brake dust. I'll even run them for autocross

Im going to change the pads and go with EBC yellow. They are unbelievable brake pad, braking action is undescribable. But it needs to be matched with high boiling point brake fluid other they overheat. I dont track my car or anything, but its super handy on the motorway when someone jams on the brakes ahead of you, you stop in a second with zero fade.

I had EBC's on my Talon, great pad for street use... Didn't know they were available for our Fit's or I'd gone that route.
